Humanity has lived under the shadow of very dark fears. Rejection. Failure. Pain. Death. About 600 BCE a prophecy was given to the small, remote nation of Israel that a healer would come. The prophecy predicted that this healer would experience our worst fears and in his empathetic suffering would bring hope and healing to all humanity. This Good Friday and Easter we will be exploring how Jesus of Nazareth fulfills this prophecy and offers us hope and healing for our deepest wounds.
