global opportunities

As a church, we support the work of Mennonite Central Committee, BIC Canada and World Vision.

  • BIC Canada -- Compassion Engagement
“We will cultivate mutual and compassionate relationships with those locally and around the world.”

That’s the direction we have set for ourselves and we’re excited to see the BIC family in all of our churches live generous lives and build intentional relationships with others. We are intentionally looking for ways to build transformative relationships with our BIC GLOBAL family in many parts around the world, and engaging in our LOCAL cities and neighbourhoods.
  • Mennonite Central Committee
Join a global community of people responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice in the name of Christ.

  • World Vision
World Vision’s Destination Life Change program is your opportunity to volunteer in a short-term project with long-term, life-changing potential.

If you're thinking about serving globally, here are just a few of the agencies that are doing great work around the world.

  • International Teams
International Teams Canada is a Christian international development agency dedicated to meeting the physical and spiritual needs of widows, orphans, and refugees globally. They partner with churches and indigenous leaders to transform communities through sustainable projects that will, over time, break the cycle of poverty. iTeams Canada currently has programs in the following countries: Ecuador, Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Guatemala, Romania, the Philippines, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia, Southern Sudan, Kenya, and Burkina Faso.

  • Word Made Flesh
Word Made Flesh Canada is called and committed to serve Jesus among the most vulnerable of the world’s poor.
