World Vision

World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organization working to create lasting change in the lives of children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. Inspired by Christian values, World Vision has been dedicated to working with the world’s most vulnerable people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender since the 1950s.

Together with World Vision, we engage in practical work across our Peacebuilders and Poverty Alleviation themes.

Peacebuilding: Raw Hope

Raw Hope is bringing tangible hope to children living in areas where conflicts are neglected and charities are consistently underfunded.  The program reaches areas where other humanitarian organizations are leaving, having deemed the context too dangerous to continue operation, such as Sudan, Central African Republic and Syria.  Our shared commitment to provide multi-sector, long-term solutions in countries too unstable for child sponsorship is one way we follow Jesus to love the vulnerable. Poverty Alleviation: Child Sponsorship

In 2011, we committed to supporting the community of Mposa, Malawi, as they continued to work with World Vision towards realizing their own dreams of a sustainable future.  By breaking the cycle of poverty they are working to provide a new future for their children.  With overwhelming support of our Meeting House churches, we committed similarly to the community of Chamba a few years later. Today we have heard incredible reports on the impact in Mposa and Chamba and are about 5-7 years away from seeing these communities realize their goals of sustainability with families poverty-free!  Partner with us here.

We are proud to work with World Vision, not just because they have received recognition for their quality programming and commitment to the industry, but because they are motivated by their love for Jesus - just like us!
